People who work in the eolic sector know that a correct and rigorous anemometric analysis is absolutely needed during the different steps (feasibility study, layout definition, data certification) of an eolic power plant design process.
Intellienergia is one of the 100 accredited organizations in the world to certify eolic power plant producibility with WAsP software.
WAsP software certification was accomplished at the Technical University of Denmark on December 4th 2008, after an educational process of over 1 year, by Giulio De Simone, who is responsible of the eolic sector in Intellienergia. The full list of certified organizations is available here..
WAsP software represents the state of the art in the world for eolic power plant siting, and allows to transport with reasonable accuracy local available data in a 10-50 km distant area from the measurement point, also depending on the orographic characteristics.

Furthermore, intellienergia is owner of a network of certified anemometers installed in numerous italian regions. Intellienergia makes wind certification valid for authorization procedures, by using own database or customer-provided.

Intellienergia further offers feasibility analysis, design and optimization services, as well as long-term correlation of anemometric data and wind certification to trade eolic design layouts.
Specific anemometric analyses are also available on request, including the full implementation of measurement campaigns.
Intellienergia, by means of technical-scientific know-how provided by the University of Rome Tor Vergata, has been using advanced modeling tools for eolic mapping of the adriatic sea with satellite data from NASA and ESA. Eolic sector agents may contact directly intellienergia to have further details.
Intellienergia assures professionalism, transparency and impartiality.
