Intellienergia realized and directly manages 3 eolic 20 kW turbines linked to the low-voltage grid, and allocated into two 20 kW and 40 kW power plants.
The power plants, during their life, will produce over 3 GWh clean energy with the emission of any pollutant nor toxic species emissions. This also allows to save over 1700 t CO2 with respect to production by fossil-based power plants. Further taking into account that an average driver produces about 1.5 t CO2 per year, the environmental advantages of such power plants are equal to the ones obtained if 40 cars stop for 30 years.
The cited eolic power plants allow intellienergia to operate with zero environmental impact: in fact all the CO2 produced to carry out our professional activities (design, education, research), and mainly related to electric, heating, transport energy consumption, as well as realizing our infrastructures and use of consumables, is more than counter-balanced by the avoided CO2 of our eolic power plants.
And there’s even more.
All utilized materials, including turbine components, have been realized in Italy. Thus, the realization of such power plants, including the labour and the induced activities, gave work to over 200 italians.
Moreover, the eolic energy conversion process does not consume any water.
Thus, production from renewables will allow in the long term to save energy-related costs, are they are not related in any way to petrolium price. Distributed generation (i.e. the realization of multiple small size power plants) also contributes to lowering transmission losses on the grid, that translates into energy cost savings.
Distributed generation concept will contribute to reducing the number of long-distance electric power lines, which electromagnetically pollute and have a landscape impact.
This technology will not contribute to the depletion of natural resources as wind is an endless resource. Thus, energy produced by this power plant will not subtract any energy to the next generations.
National production from renewables contributes to create profit in Italy, that allows to increase the gnp and the tax yield. By introducing fiscal federalism, this advantage will be particularly important also for local boards. Fossil based production requires instead resource acquisition from abroad, and then contributes to increase imports and capital allocation to foreign countries.
